A Chic Sofia Richie Inspired California Club Wedding - Amanda & Joe
Planning a wedding is an exciting and detailed endeavor! When it came to throwing her chic wedding in Los Angeles, Amanda chose the legendary California Club! Located in the heart of downtown, the iconic venue gave the combination of sophistication, elegance, and history.
When I (Bridal makeup artist and hairstylist of over 10 years!) first met Amanda in person, it was for her bridal trial at my private studio. Her bridal makeup and hair inspo: Sofia Richie. I was so excited!! We had chatted the details of her wedding day look during her phone consultation, but seeing her bridal style inspo in person made this artist’s heart skip a beat!! It was the perfect look for Amanda!
Wedding Day
As we arrived to Amanda & Joe’s wedding day, myself and my glam team entered the beautiful and historic California Club. Most member’s only clubs like this are closed to the public, so being able to enter was such a treat! As we walked through the beautiful hallways, the opulent details and decor wowed us at each turn! The club offered a luxurious bridal suite where the ladies were able to relax, pre-party, and have their wedding hairstyling and makeup services done!
Amanda’s Wedding Day Look
Inspired by the effortlessly chic style of Sofia Richie. For makeup, I drew inspiration from Sofia's radiant complexion and embraced a soft, natural glow. We lightly filled in and shaped Amanda’s perfect brows and added a little shimmer to her eyelids. To channel Sofia's statement lips, we chose a rosy pink with nude tones that looked effortlessly sophisticated.
For hair, we took cues from Sofia's chic wedding day bun hairstyle, moving the bun a tad lower, to compliment Amanda’s own tastes.
