When I, bridal makeup artist and hairstylist of over 10 years, first met a Poorva at her bridal trial for her South Asian wedding weekend in Santa Barbara, I couldn't help but be filled with excitement and anticipation to work with her. As a professional makeup artist and hairstylist, I've had the privilege of working with brides from all walks of life, each with their own unique style and vision. And Poorva was no different!
Her confidence radiated through her discussion of her wedding day look and it was clear that she had a clear vision in mind.

As we began discussing her ideas, it became evident that she wanted a look that was modern and effortless. She didn't want to conform to traditional norms but desired a style that spoke to her individuality and sense of self. With this in mind, we proceeded to experiment with various makeup techniques and hairstyles, allowing her to express her unique personality through her bridal look.
