B.E.T. Red Carpet Makeup 2023
Are you dreaming of your red carpet look? I, Ruth, hair and makeup artist of 10+ years, recently had the pleasure of working with the lovely Keisha who arrived in town for the annual B.E.T. Awards this year. Keisha knew exactly the look she was going for and had a fabulous dress to match. She wanted a full glam and half up half down hairstyle.
I started Keisha’s full glam with a moisturizing primer, to make sure her skin was not only moisturized, but that it would last all night. I then started with her eye makeup, which is recommended when doing a heavy smokey eye. I used Scott Barnes Cosmetics Snatural #1 Eyeshadow palette. After completing the eye makeup, I moved onto skin. We contoured and highlighted to bring out Keisha’s gorgeous natural bone structure. For foundation I mixed a few colors, as I often do for all my ladies, to get that perfect skin match. The base of Keisha’s skin look was Iman Foundation.
To enhance the contour I went in with Scott Barnes Cosmetics Contour palette, and finished up with some light blush from his Chic Cheek palette. To complete the look I used Charlotte Tilbury’s Kim K lipstick! See a close up of the look below!
