A Redbird DTLA Wedding - with Cheryl & Gregg
The Redbird Event Venue in Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) was once a Cathedral, but has since been renovated into a gorgeous restaurant and event venue! The “nooks and cranies” of this gorgeous building are just that, gorgeous and full of character! Definitely a highlight Los Angeles Wedding and Event Venue! Now let’s take a look at the wedding I did there:
Early in February 2022, Cheryl reached out to me to book her wedding hair and makeup. She was a chill bride from the start and a pleasure to work with! After our email correspondence, booking, and waiting for the big day, it (the big day of course!) finally arrived!! Cheryl booked her glam along with her mom and sister’s. She had decided to go for a smaller wedding, entertaining around 100 - 150 guests for her day. Choosing a Sunday for her Jewish ceremony, the day was bright, beautiful, and full of promise!! An excellent backdrop for the decor she was about to bless the space with!!
When I arrived at the JW Marriott Live where Cheryl and party were getting ready for her big day at the Redbird DTLA Wedding Venue, I was received with excited expectation (And a little nerves, let’s be real, it’s the wedding day!!). I started with Sister and Mom, who already beautiful, looked even more stunning with their enhancing glam services!
When Cheryl’s turn came she requested a simple and natural glam. She wasn’t a big makeup wearer and wanted to just enhance her features. We went for beautiful glowy skin and a light pink eye to match her gorgeous pink wedding dress.
As you can see by the few photos already, Cheryl had designed and hosted an gorgeous Wedding Event!! From the stunning floral arrangements, to the gorgeous wedding dress, and spectacular venue, she really treated her guests to a wonderful day! Cheryl and Greg, I hope you have the best first few months of marriage and a long, happy many years to follow!!
