When Cristeal, the photographer, first approached me about creating this Bridgerton inspired wedding shoot, I was very excited at the idea of it!! Not only do I love the period fashion and creativity of the Bridgerton show, but loved all the inspiration Cristeal was sharing to inspire the Bridgerton feel!
For hair, we both loved the look of all the curls! And definitely wanted those to be a part of the look! One of the details that draws me to the Bridgerton series is the creativity with fashion and specifically hairstyles! I love the braids and updos, perfect curls and cultural stylings! We also loved the assortment of hairpieces and hair accessories from the show, so Cristeal reached out to Archive bridal for the perfect hair pieces to complement the looks.
For makeup, we wanted to keep it true to the show and period. In the show the make up is still done up, more of a modern day twist on the Regency Era. When chatting with Cristeal, we loved this glowy, natural, pretty look, a look that spoke very bridal and pretty.
When we arrived at the venue and set up the glam spot, I went to work glamming the gorgeous couple (Fun Fact: They were actually an engaged couple!!) Courtney’s naturally straight hair took some time to curl, but as it always is, was so worth it when the final look came together! For Ethan, I did a little light men’s grooming and he was good to go!
The Marquess wedding venue has multiple locations within it’s gates to host your event. Whether you’re looking for something more romantic or more classic; this versatile venue has the space for you! We started out in the glass-walled reception area with Courtney’s hair down and a gorgeous Bridgerton-esqe crown to complement! We then head over to the free standing mini church, which was just exquisite for photos! To finish, we ended near the forest area with sparkling chandelier and caught the gorgeous sunset for our final photos!!
What do you think? Perfectly Romantic, Sexy, Intriguing…. Doesn’t this wedding just inspire you? All the flowers and details came together perfectly to bring this inspired wedding shoot to life!
