Bridal Hairstylist Los Angeles, CA
Hello! I’m Ruth B Medrano, owner of Ruth B Medrano Beauty, and I’m a bridal hairstylist (and makeup artist!)! I offer my services to ladies of all shades and cultures! I’d love to discuss a few different styles and aspects of my bridal hairstyling that I offer for your special day!
Bridal Curls, Waves, and Half-Up Half Down Hairstyles
These wedding day styles are a popular pick among my brides. Soft loose waves or a beautiful half up/half down are a stunning accessory to your wedding day look! It’s a classic style that can be made chic or glamorous! Add a hair accessory or veil and your ready!
Bridal Updos
Updos are an excellent wedding day hairstyle for the bride who loves her hair up, going for a chic and glamourous look, and/or getting married in the warmer months. Updos are completely versatile and come in many, many styles and shapes.
Hollywood Waves Hairstyle
Hollywood waves are a classic and glamorous bridal hairstyle. From the softer, classic version of the 1940’s to the modern version of the 2020 decade, Hollywood waves have remained a timeless hairstyle that keeps its class through the generations.
Hairstyles for Curly Haired Brides
As I mentioned, this bridal hairstylist is well versed in all different hair types: curly girls included! Showing off your curls in your bridal hairstyle is beautiful and truly a unique-to-you opportunity! Whether you have softer waves or tight curls, accentuation your hair’s natural texture is a fabulous accessory to your overall look!
Glam Styles and the Modern Chic
Glam and modern hairstyles are what I call bridal hairstyles that aren’t as common as the ones above. These are wedding hairstyles that are inspired by Met Gala hair, like the one pictured below, or a fashion moment! These styles are fun to create and well worth the styling time put in!
How to find your bridal hairstylist
Well you’ve found me! But if you’re not in LA here are few quick tips!
Search for the look you’re going for or search for popular celebrity wedding looks. Bridal hairstylists will tag and post these specific styles that they specialize in to help you find them!
Look through your artist’s work. Professional and experienced artists will conveniently list out details and pricing that you’ll need to see if your date and details work!
If everything is a fit, reach out via their contact form or provided email to inquire for your date! Be sure to include location, timing, and the number of your bridal party!
Book them! If you’ve discussed details and everything fits, book! Don’t let the opportunity pass to work with your qualified professional!
What’s the going rate for a Bridal Hairstylist
Rates will vary from artist to artist. For a professional bridal hairstylist whom you can trust with your entire wedding journey, the rate will vary from $300 to $500+ wedding day of, with the later being a more celebrity artist rate. Final pricing will depend on whether you include a trial, add extensions, any additional styling time, location, etc.!
Are Bridal Hair Trials Really Necessary?
Absolutely! If you’ve made it this far in this post, then you’re the kind of gal who considers her wedding day look an important piece of the day. The bridal hair trial is where you run through the ideas for your hair look for the wedding day. You can adjust and make little tweaks where needed to make the style just right in a relaxed atmosphere. Here you will learn if your desired wedding day style is a good match or if you need to switch a few details up to make it a perfect fit. It also allows you to wear it for the day to see how you feel and how it wears the rest of the day.
