Looking toward 2021
What are you looking forward to in 2021?…
Look at me starting a beauty blog! I will be honest, I started this blog to attract more traffic to my site… because I want to work with more people like you! This year I have been able to commit a lot of my time to learning and reading and it’s really been so good! I’ve read about 4 books (almost), went thru a master business program, have been thru 2-3 masterclasses, watched countless make up and hair videos on YouTube studying my favorite artists like; Scott Barnes, Hung Vanngo, Chris Appleton, Hrush, and PaintedbySpencer. My achieving self likes to think I got at least another college semesters worth of knowledge! Upping that game!! I also spent time resting, doing puzzles, exercising, self-care and watching Desi Perkins baby journey! (Common it’s not allll been go-go-go :)
But now I’m ready for 2021. I’m ready to start reaching new heights in my artistry, work, and personal life. I’m ready to start working with more elevated artists. I’m so thankful this year I was able to work with some amazing people. People like Jarelle Lee, Madiha Khan of Exquisite Events, Anastasiya Sazhina and Vinuthna Garidipuri. I’ve had the pleasure of working with beautiful, and super sweet models like Leeanna of @leedeevee. I’ve had the pleasure of assisting Chad Wood (Wall Group) for this year’s Oscars, working with some beautiful ladies; Vanessa Hudgens (who was the absolute sweetest) & Kaitlyn Dever. It’s truly been such an incredible year, despite this crazy pandemic. And with the skills and knowledge I’ve had the privilege of learning this year, I’m ready to elevate my skill and work.
Personally, I’ve loved the time to rest and focus on some self care. I continue to want to focus on self-care and character growth. I want to connect with my clients more personally, rather than completely professionally; because if there’s one thing I’ve learned over and over again this last half of the year is that Beauty is personal.
If you’ve gotten into conversations with me, we may have had a conversation about financial independence. It’s something I’ve grown a passion for in these last few years. It’s something I wish for you and something I’m making a reality for me!
And lastly, travel!!! I’m so excited as my hubby and I work towards financial independence, to start looking forward to more frequent travel. We have plans for Guatemala, Hawaii, Italy, Australia, Disneyland Paris, Paris, DisneyWorld, and so many more! I’m really looking forward to this, and sharing our stories with you!
All these goals may not come thru in 2021, but I believe not only can I achieve them, but when your words and thoughts are centered on positive, good things, that give you a hope and future, I do believe that even if the end result doesn’t turn out as you had expected, it will come thru. Best to you!
